At the moment the laundry “continues to come out from the same position”, but it could deviate and affect more areas, has explained the seismologist of the National Geographic Institute Itahiza Domínguez.

After two weeks erupting, the lava has already affected 397.5 hectares and has left 946 buildings destroyed (plus another 128 possibly affected) and 28.3 kilometers of unused roads. The marine delta that has formed in its fall into the sea occupies an area of ​​almost 29.7 hectares, according to the information updated this Monday by the Department of Homeland Security (DSN).
