American singer, winner of seven Grammy awards Billie Eilish publicly cursed against the new Texas law banning abortion after six weeks of pregnancy. Pitchfork writes about it.

Eilish admitted from the scene at the Austin City Limits 2021 Texas Music Festival that she originally wanted to cancel her performance at the event to protest the state’s new abortion law.

“I was thinking about giving up on the show because I wanted to punish it ****** [долбанное] place for being allowed there. But then I remembered that it was you guys ****** [долбанные] sacrifice and you deserve it all in the world. And we need to tell them to ***** [нахрен] shut up, ”said the artist from the stage, accompanying her obscene monologue with a gesture with her middle finger.

“My body is mine, ***** [блин], business ”, – summed up her speech 19-year-old artist.

Earlier, American actress Uma Thurman also criticized the ban on abortion in Texas. In her essay against the new law, she admitted that she had an abortion at 15.

On September 1, it became known that a bill entered into force in the US state of Texas, according to which a ban on abortion for a period of six weeks or more was introduced. According to human rights groups, the law actually prohibits abortion in general, since 85-90 percent of women usually have an abortion after six weeks of pregnancy.
