It’s been quite some time since Huawei launched its P50 series flagship smartphones. The Chinese technology giant, which is under the influence of US sanctions, has not yet announced the Huawei Mate 50 series smartphones. The flagship devices of the Huawei Mate series were usually released in September or October. However, according to the latest reports, the situation may be different this time.
HERE IS THE DATE GIVEN FOR HUAWEI MATE 50 SERIES
A report from China for the Huawei Mate 50 series has revealed that the new flagship smartphones are expected to go official in the first quarter of next year and the announcement will take place in March.
FEATURES OF HUAWEI MATE 50 SERIES
Smartphones in the Mate 50 series are expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 chipset. However, this processor, which will also power other smartphones, seems to support only 4G connection instead of 5G in the Mate 50 series.
It is also speculated that the phones will be equipped with an LTPO display, as in the Apple iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. This improvement could mean that the phone will have adaptive refresh rate support along with 120 Hz high refresh rate support.
On the other hand, it was claimed that the Huawei Mate 50 will provide satellite connection when cellular network is not available. The company is said to prefer the Beidou Satellite System for this. Due to this new feature, it is also among the rumors that the launch of Huawei’s upcoming flagship smartphone is postponed.
However, all this information has not yet been confirmed by Huawei.
