Tucumán prepares for a week of Special Education

It seeks to make visible the actions that the educational portfolio carries out to guarantee the right to education of all people with disabilities, and improve the quality of their educational services.

From October 4 to 7, the Ministry of Education in charge of Juan Pablo Lichtmajer, will launch the Special Education Week Include ME under the slogan “Breaking barriers, the goal … Include ME, the right.”

This year, under strict biosafety protocols, Include ME Week will begin with a formal ceremony at the Innovation Center, and throughout the conference different proposals will be covered, including the inauguration of a Special Education classroom in La Cocha, a mural painting in a school in Alberdi, inauguration of a Comprehensive Approach Center for students with ASD at the Isabel la Católica School, among other activities such as student exhibitions and talks.

Schedule of activities:


10:30 am – CIIDEPT – Opening Ceremony


10:30 am – La Cocha: Inauguration of the José María Torres School Special Education Classroom.

Interdisciplinary and itinerant Support to Inclusion team.


09:00 h – CIIDEPT: Awareness Act on the importance of sign language.

10:00 h – CIIDEPT: Storytelling Activities – Conversation with young people with deaf references.

10:00 am – Gardens of the Ministry of Education: Mural painting, Próspero García School, IOT and the Tucumana Association of the Deaf.

10:00 h – Alberdi: Painted mural at Secondary School No. 29


09:30 am – Isabel la Católica School: Inauguration of the First Comprehensive Approach Center for students with ASD.

In addition, on the 5th, 6th and 7th, an inclusive sample of students will be held in the gardens of the Ministry of Education, from 09:00 to 13:00.
