The Renfe drivers are summoned this Monday by their union Semaf for the third day of strike that, unlike the first two, last Thursday and Friday, which were 24 hours, will consist of partial stoppages between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m., between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. and between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
After two days of truce, the drivers resume their protest called, among other reasons, to vindicate integrity in the provision of services by Renfe.
They also claim the reinstatement of all non-covered employment and all circulations terminated.
The protest will continue too this Tuesday, as well as the next 7, 8, 11 and 12 October, coinciding with the Pilar bridge.
The first two days of the strike were marked by alterations and delays in the circulation of commuter trains in Catalonia, Valencia and Madrid, which Renfe blamed on the failure to comply with minimum services, an extreme that the convening union denied at all times.
