The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported that there were six deaths and 386 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Argentina, which adds up to 115,245 deaths officially registered at the national level and 5,259,738 those infected since the beginning of the pandemic, the Ministry of Health reported today.

The health portfolio indicated that 1,052 are hospitalized with coronavirus in intensive care units, with a percentage of occupancy of adult beds of 35.9% in the country and 40% in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area.

49.74% (192 people) of those infected today (386) correspond to the City and the province of Buenos Aires.

Of the 5,259,738 infected, 97.40% (5,123,173) were discharged and 21,320 are confirmed active cases.

The report specified that 1 man died in Río Negro and 5 women: 2 in Córdoba; 1 in Mendoza; and 2 in Santa Fe.

Today 99 cases were registered in the province of Buenos Aires; in the City of Buenos Aires, 93; in Catamarca, 9; in Chaco, 5; in Chubut, 2; in Córdoba, 37; in Entre Ríos, 6; in Formosa, 9; in Jujuy, 11; in La Pampa, 5; in La Rioja, 10; in Mendoza, 5; in Misiones, 6; in Río Negro, 10; in Salta, 12; in San Juan, 2; in San Luis, 5; in Santa Cruz, 2; in Santa Fe, 20; in Santiago del Estero, 18; and in Tucumán, 20.

Meanwhile, there were no cases in Corrientes, Neuquén and Tierra del Fuego.

The Ministry also indicated that 22,478 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours and since the beginning of the outbreak there have been 23,968,692 diagnostic tests for this disease.
