This last year and a half is not being a bed of roses for anyone. More than known are the reasons. But the desire to leave behind these complicated months, in which COVID-19 came to completely paralyze the world, are even greater for some, such as Maximum Huerta, which, putting aside the pandemic, has been facing a complicated family trance for some time. The writer had to pack his bags to settle in Valencia to take care of Clara Hernández, his mother, after doctors discovered he had a tumor in one of his eyes. As if that were not enough, this delicate situation was added a few months ago by a domestic accident that made him undergo surgery after breaking several bones in his hand. But from the latter, fortunately, he would already be fully recovered.

The television presenter has shown his concern about the health of his mother on Thursday. He has done it through a photograph in which he appears she sitting in a hospital room waiting for their turn to undergo a new test. A moment full of anguish, uncertainty, fear and impatience. Another resonance. Another wait. Again to dive in front of the mystery. The son says it will be fine. The mother raises her eyebrows ”, she described the situation in detail:“ Silence. The same as the other time. The one from the previous one. Be quiet. His name is heard. They are calling her. Pass the control. I write and look at the -now- empty chair ”.

Followers, colleagues and friends have not hesitated to send “energy hugs” to Máximo. “Those of us who have lived it know that there are no words, only feelings. A lot of strength ”, he also received messages from those who, unfortunately, had gone through this situation and knew what the journalist was going through. “Everything will be fine,” they repeated over and over to calm his nerves. “It is so. That’s how it is. The waiting rooms are cold and a space of uncertainty. I hug you strong ”, Ana Bernal sent him all her support.

Her boyfriend, with whom she has been with for about four years, would be one of its great pillars in this complicated stage. Last August, Huerta wanted to celebrate love without “tapas”, a simile to which she resorted to vindicate her decision not to continue hiding her boy.

This is how Máximo Huerta told us that he was in love

He did it with a black and white image in which they appeared looking into infinity, holding tightly together with the symbol of an anchor. Although this was his official presentation, Máximo had already posted photos with his partner, whom we could put a face to but whose identity we do not know at the moment.
