In the Komi Republic, a 47-year-old Russian shot four people and committed suicide. This is reported by the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).
According to the investigation, on the night of September 18, a quarrel broke out between the offender, two sisters and neighbors in a private house. During the conflict, a man took a double-barreled gun and shot his 54-year-old sister. After that, he shot the others, and then committed suicide. A 53-year-old sister, a 58-year-old neighbor and a 37-year-old neighbor were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds of varying severity.
It is known about the criminal that he did not work anywhere and abused alcohol. The TFR opened a criminal case under Article 105 (“Murder”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Investigators carry out a set of investigative actions aimed at establishing the causes and circumstances of the incident.
On September 20, it was reported that 18-year-old student Timur Bekmansurov entered the territory of one of the buildings of the Perm State National Research University and opened fire on those around him from a hunting smooth-bore rifle. According to the TFR, eight people died.
