The taxi driver who brought the attacker to the Perm university told about the trip

The taxi driver who gave a lift to Timur Bekmansurov, who was shooting at the Perm State University (PSNIU), said that the guy seemed strange to him, but the driver did not attach any importance to this. His words are quoted by the Telegram channel Mash.

Before the trip, the taxi driver suggested that Bekmansurov put the bag in the trunk, but he refused and took it with him to the salon.

“In the car, he was calm and did not speak. I asked him a couple of questions about his balaclava, but I saw that he did not want to talk. I didn’t ask anything else, ”the driver said. “Nowadays young people are like that, they put all sorts of nonsense on their faces, well, I didn’t attach any importance to it”.

The man noted that the young man paid for the trip by bank transfer and left a tip of 60 rubles. The taxi driver found out who his passenger was later, when during another trip he was stopped and interrogated by operatives.

The shooting at Perm State National Research University became known on the morning of September 20. As a result of the emergency, six people died, another 24 were injured. Bekmansurov, who committed the attack at the university, is currently in a hospital in serious condition. September 21 in the Perm Territory has been declared a day of mourning.
