ARGENTINE – Tucumán Diego “Profeta” Ruiz (23-3-0, 12 KOs), won the Latin WBC super bantamweight silver title by technically eliminating Juan José “Harry” (15-4-3, 1) in the seventh round KO), a stellar duel of the evening entitled “Riña de Supergallos”, which took place last Saturday at the Pérez Multipurpose Complex, in Santa Fe. It could be viewed on the screen of TyC Sports, as part of a new international production of OR Promotions.
At the top of the former national and Latino monarchs, the winner Ruiz (55,300) knew how to exploit his size and his power to reduce the resistance of the tough Jurado (55,300), who tried to counter by pouring out all his experience, without however being able to to accomplish its mission.
Dominance started to increase in the fourth round, when Las Talitas found precision with hooks in the soft zone, combined with crosses to the face. As the actions were repeated on the fifth and sixth, the north corner, rightly, decided to throw in the towel on the seventh and doom the Prophet’s triumph.
In this way, the man from Tucumán added a fourth crown to his record, as he could have been an Argentine bantamweight champion, a Latin WBC super bantamweight and a Latin WBC silver featherweight champion.
In the semi-long distance match, agreed to eight rounds, the Rosario credit on the rise and the silver medal at the Odesur Cochabamba 2018 Games, Carlos “Junior” Alanis (58,700 / 6-0-0), in a good performance, unanimously dominated the former world ranked, former Argentine champion and former Latin super bantamweight IBF / WBO, San Juan de Rawson, Fabián “Noni” Orosco (59,300 / 27-13-4, 9 KOs).

In the main complementary clash, framed by six, the immaculate pampeano of Quemú Quemú and Argentine champion over 69 kg in 2018, Gerónimo “El Caballero” Vázquez (67.600 / 7-0-0, 2 KO), passed in a unanimous decision experienced and brave man from La Plata from the city of Tolosa, Juan Pablo “Juampi” Lucero (67.200 / 10-16-2, 9 KO).

Opening of the day, four rounds and in a duel of beginners from Santa Fe, the native of Ciudad de Gálvez, Tobías “El Pitbull” Reyes (50.700 / 1-0-0, 1 KO), technically knocked out in the first to the credit of Villa Gobernador Galvez, Iván Meza (50,700 / 0-1-0).
