The Belgian National Team remains firmly at the top of the FIFA Men’s Ranking for three consecutive years and that was a reason for celebration: through their official Twitter account they published a photo of several of their players along with a hashtag that says: #DEVILTIME (Devil’s Time).
The Red Devils won their last international matches against Estonia, Czech Republic and Belarus in the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers, so they kept the first place of the table followed by Brazil. England, France, Italy, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, Mexico and Denmark.
So far in these three years, since September 20, 2018, the Belgian team led by the Spanish Roberto Martínez played only one major tournament, the European Championship, where he was eliminated in the quarterfinals after losing to Italy, who was champion, in a tight 2-1. It also has its place almost guaranteed in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
THE GOOD STRETCH OF THE COACH
For his part, Martinez became the coach with the most victories under the command of Belgium: he won 50 of the 64 games he played. In his five years of leadership, he registered a success rate of 82.8%. In addition, he took them to third place in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

As for the players who stood out so far in their stay, on the one hand the Chelsea striker stands out, Romelu Lukaku, who has a total of 100 games with the Belgian shirt where he scored 67 goals, of which 50 were since Martínez took command of the team in 2016, because he trusted him and took his version.
On the other hand, Eden Hazard under the orders of the Spanish has had a great performance, in which in three games international scored a goal, gave an assist and 137 successful passes, which makes him one of the most important players on the squad.
