In the midst of the tension that exists within the Government of Alberto Fernández after the wave of resignations presentations as a result of the defeat suffered by the ruling party in the PASO, several personalities close to politics came out to speak. Who also did it was Mario Pergolini, the radio and television host who knew how to be vice president although of a football club.
Although he was next to Jorge Amor Ameal in Boca Juniors, this was for just under two years since he resigned in early 2021 in a context of discussions with the Soccer Council. For this reason, he made an ironic comparison between his experience and the current situation in the country.
On his Instagram account, Mario Pergolini wrote: “Anyway … How annoying the vices, right?” And to this he added an emoji of a laugh.
It should be remembered that the former vice president of Boca had resigned after some tensions with the Soccer Council that at that time was in charge of Juan Román Riquelme, and who has since replaced him. When communicating that he was going to step aside, he had explained that “he wanted the best (for the club), but undoubtedly (he was not) the person who cannot give it to him.”
“Sometimes you have to understand that you have proposals that cannot be carried out or you do not find a way to accompany you and, well, you have to know how to step aside,” he had also said.
With that publication, Mario Pergolini made reference – beyond the crisis in the Government – to the extensive letter from Vice President Cristina Kirchner. In it, he spoke again about the “officials who do not work”, the requests he made to the president on other occasions and his relationship with Fernández.
