Windows 11 will not support on Apple M1 based devices

The report also revealed that the company is still changing the preview code for Windows Insiders through its Dev and Beta Channels.

A Windows 11 Virtual Machine running on a Mac with an M1 chip was recently spotted causing trouble. This caused it to face hardware compatibility issues and caused the Channel Windows Insider build to display an error.

The record also asked Microsoft about its future plans on an M1 Mac in Parallel Desktop. Unfortunately, the company stated that this is an unsupported scenario for now. By the way, even running the new OS directly on hardware is not currently supported.

Other than that, the company is still working on the global launch of Windows 11, but a slew of issues remain, which for some Surface Pro X users includes a bugchecks issue that is causing a disappearing taskbar and non-functional Start Menus. Along with this, it was said that the full-stable version will be introduced soon and more details will come, let’s see what the process will show us.
