Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- Older adults who worked as parcel carriers and car attendants and that due to the Covid-19 pandemic they had to leave their work yesterday, they received the delivery of the “Amor al Mayor” program number 22 of food support from the DIF Ahome.
Georgina Bórquez Solano, president of DIF Municipal, highlighted that 450 older adults benefit.
To date, 9,900 pantries have been delivered with an investment of approximately 4 and a half million pesos.
Bórquez Solano mentioned that the beginning of the program was with monthly deliveries, looking for a way to further support the beneficiaries, currently a full pantry is delivered every 21 days.

Older adults will receive their next nutritional support on October 5 at the DIF Ahome facilities.
