A group of criminals assaulted about 40 passengers who were traveling inside a bus of the Sol y Mar public transport company that was traveling along Néstor Gambetta avenue, in the Callao.

The 24 Hours newscast detailed that four thugs posed as passengers and boarded the unit at the height of Canta Callao avenue. Then, they drew their weapons and threatened the driver, so that he could continue with his route and not stop.

However, when the bus was in the Brisas de Oquendo area, the passengers noticed that a patrol car was nearby and they notified the police, who intervened.

Faced with this, the thugs escaped, even one of them fled through the bus window. However, the passengers managed to catch an assailant, who was identified as Christian Joel Aponte Núñez (37).
The passengers were taken to the Márquez police station to file a complaint against the offender. Part of what was stolen was recovered.
