Iran in two or three months will be able to produce enough material for the appearance of a nuclear bomb in the country. Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz warned about this in an interview with Foreign Policy magazine.
According to him, if Iran achieves its goal, then a nuclear arms race may begin in the region. To avoid this, political and economic pressure from the United States, Russia, China and Europe should be exerted on Tehran.
Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that the shortest, albeit to the restoration of the Iranian nuclear deal, is the return of the United States and Iran to the systematic fulfillment of their obligations under the JCPOA. She noted that the root causes of the current difficulties with the deal have not yet been resolved, and urged all partners to return to the negotiating table and come to an agreement.
This summer, it became known that the only concession to US President Joe Biden from the new Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi could be a return to the fulfillment of the terms of the nuclear deal. The United States Department of State has promised that Washington will continue negotiations with Tehran on a return to the 2015 nuclear deal under the new leadership of the country. Raisi himself said that he did not want to meet with Biden even if all sanctions against Iran were lifted.
