Shortly before five in the afternoon, the meeting between Pedro Sánchez and Pere Aragonès ended, which lasted about two hours and was prior to the dialogue table.
The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, arrived at the Palau de la Generalitat at 3:00 pm sharp to stage a resumption of the dialogue table marked by the absence of JxCat. And it is that, after the controversy of the last hours, the Catalan delegation will only be made up of President Aragonès and two ERC advisers: Laura Vilagrà and Roger Torrent.
Aragonés has received her in the Palau’s garages accompanied by the Mossos gala training. First there will be a meeting between the two presidents, both will appear at a press conference separately, and later the delegations from the dialogue table will meet in the Torres Garcia Room. Presidents are expected to attend only the beginning of the table.
Sánchez and Aragonès have met in the Chamber of Deputies of the Palau and should serve, according to the Government, “to establish the objectives and the methodology for the resumption of the negotiating process.”
The Minister of the Presidency, Laura Vilagrà, explained that one of the objectives is for a “clear” calendar to come out today on the periodicity of the next sessions. And he added that the Government wants the table to meet again before Christmas.
