The dismissed Colonel Diego Pérez de los Cobos is going to appeal to the Supreme Court the decision of the National Court that supports Grande-Marlaska’s decision to dismiss him. Sources very close to the colonel confirm to Cadena SER that the colonel appeals aware that even admission terms are long and that the decision can come even when he is retired.
The court rules out that Interior committed a misuse of power by dismissing the command of the Civil Guard but Pérez de los Cobos appealed because he considers that the court does not enter into the reason for the dismissal.
These sources highlight that right now there are more than 9,000 freely designated agents within the Armed Institute who remain at the service of the political parties when investigating.
This Wednesday the five magistrates of the Fifth Section of the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the National Court have upheld the appeal filed by the State Attorney and have unanimously revoked the sentence of the central court of contentious number 8 of the same court, which annulled the dismissal of Diego Pérez de los Cobos as head of the command of the armed institute in Madrid.
