Married accuses Sánchez of being "the main problem in Spain" and the president places the PP outside the law

The first session of control to the Government of the political course left this Wednesday a bitter confrontation between Pablo Casado and Pedro Sánchez in the Congress of Deputies. The opposition leader asserted, after listing problems such as unemployment, the price of electricity, the crisis in Catalonia or the non-renewal of the General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ), that the chief executive “is incapable of solving the problems of the Spaniards, because it is the main problem of Spain “.

In his reply, Sánchez once again placed the leader of the PP outside the legal and democratic framework of Spain. “I ask you two things: that you comply with the Constitution and with democratic legality and that when you go out, you speak well of your country,” said the president.

Casado, for his part, accused him of being the “most radical” ruler of both Europe and of “the democratic history of Spain”, in an intervention that began with a sardonic tone welcoming him to Parliament after, he said, “from eighty days without showing his face. ” The president picked up the glove in the same tone saying that “I hope to continue seeing you here for a long time.”

The leader of the opposition opened several fronts in his first intervention, including that of the pandemic, telling Sánchez that “he has presumed management when it was not his responsibility [en referencia a las vacunas, que según el líder popular son un éxito de las comunidades autónomas y la Unión Europea] forgetting and hiding that there are already 120,000 deaths from the pandemic and that even the Constitutional Court has overturned its measures, “he stated in reference to the ruling that considered the application of the state of alarm for the first confinement in 2020 inappropriate.

But in addition to the “failure” of the Government in the management of the Covid, for Casado Sánchez he presides over a “failed” Cabinet that has not achieved its main objectives of the investiture. Not in the fight against unemployment, because “there are more than a million families in the queues of hunger”; nor in the so-called social shield, which in Casado’s opinion “has electrocuted, triggering the electricity bill”; nor in the defense of freedom, “because your Government has degraded all freedoms.” The president of the PP also affirmed that Sánchez “should be ashamed that the four judicial associations have to go to Europe, to denounce that you prevent judges from choosing judges in Spain,” he stated about the reform of the Organic Law of Power Judicial requested by the PP.

Casado also referred to the dialogue table in Barcelona to which Sánchez was marching after the parliamentary session, stating that it is a meeting with “those who cheer on the terrorists who want to attack the PP” in reference to the CDR that according to a ongoing judicial process planned actions against the leader of the opposition.

In his reply, Sánchez referred to an issue that Casado had not mentioned, the repligue in Afghanistan, to presume that the president of the European Commission, Ursula Von Der Leyen, “of his party” remarked, praised the performance of our country calling it “the soul of Europe.”
