Luxury cruise ships leave the port of Ushuaia to disembark in Chile

Silversea Cruises, one of the most prestigious luxury cruise companies, will leave the Argentine port of Ushuaia to move to Chile in the next tourist season. This company is one of the most chosen by foreigners when it comes to touring Antarctica.

From Silversea they detailed that Chile is a great commercial strategy, both in its landscapes and in its “stable” infrastructure. The different tourist packages they offer have an all-inclusive package so that passengers can enjoy the experience in the best way possible.

Some can last from five to ten days in the waters of Antarctica and include different walks on land. Before this transfer, each ship left the mainland and always returned to Ushuaia.

Starting this summer, these same cruises will set sail and return in Punta Arenas or from Puerto Williams. To do this, customers must travel to Santiago de Chile and from the ports already mentioned -according to the package- they will begin the adventure.

A point to highlight is that the Argentine National Government confirmed that from next October 20 the country will be able to return to commercialize cruise trips. For this, there is already an authorized protocol that must be respected to the letter, to avoid health problems.
