At the Johan Cruyff Institute people know that a passion for top sport can also be the driving force for education and talent development.”
By the telesportscholarships, more athletes and coaches will be well prepared for their future, to serve the interests of the sport.
Dutch top athletes and coaches such as Merijn Zeeman, Laurens ten Dam (both cycling), Herre Zonderland, Céline van Gerner (both gymnastics), Margot Boer, Wouter Olde Heuvel (both skating), Inge Dekker, Femke Heemskerk (both swimming), Dagmar Genee (water polo), Elisabeth Willeboordse (judo) and Ignisious Gaisah (athletics) previously received a telesportscholarship to study at the Johan Cruyff Institute.
