Hai Shoulian, a prominent Israeli anti-corona vaccine opponent, died of COVID-19 on Monday. The 57-year-old had called on his followers on social media not to be vaccinated against the corona virus.
The convinced anti-vaccination opponent Hai Shoulian died on Monday in the Israeli city of Cholon. Complications from coronavirus infection were named as the cause of death. Two weeks before he was admitted to the hospital, the 57-year-old took part in a corona protest and was arrested by the police. After a while, he began to feel unwell and sought medical help. It turned out that he was infected with SARS-CoV-2. In a Facebook post, the vaccine skeptic claimed that police had poisoned him when he was arrested.
As his condition continued to deteriorate, Shoulian posted a photo from a hospital room and wrote that he could not speak and was not getting enough oxygen. Nevertheless, he continued to criticize the Green Passport and urged his supporters to fight against the state, which he said is “carrying out criminal coercion of citizens”. He also wrote that he believed that “with God’s help” he would recover in two to three weeks.
Until the end, Shoulian believed that vaccines against COVID-19 had not been adequately researched and that the consequences for the body could be catastrophic. He regularly posted calls on social networks to refuse vaccinations and called the vaccine life-threatening. In addition, he argued that the pandemic was nothing more than a fiction.
His brother Avi told media representatives that the entire family was devastated and did not know how to deal with this grief. The man said he decided to speak to the media to encourage his brother’s supporters to get vaccinated and save their lives. He added, “I wish I could convince him to save his own life”.
