In Ukraine, Morgenstern was re-recognized as a threat to national security

The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine has again blacklisted the Russian rapper Morgenstern (real name Alisher Valeev). The corresponding order is published on the agency’s website.

According to the ministry, restrictions on the singer’s entry into the territory of Ukraine begin to operate on Wednesday, September 15. “To update the list of persons who pose a threat to national security, adding a person to it – Morgenstern Alisher Tagirovich,” the order says.

In April, for the first time, the artist was recognized as a threat to the national security of Ukraine and was included in the corresponding list of persons. The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of the country did not indicate the specific reasons and terms of the ban on visiting the country. At the moment, the list includes more than 180 people, including the Russian singer Philip Kirkorov.

Later, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) said that Morgenstern, during his speeches, promotes the cult of violence and cruelty, as well as the use of drugs and psychotropic substances. All this “creates preconditions for conflict situations in relation to the organizers and participants of the concert.”

Morgenstern decided to sue the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) because of the ban on coming to the country. Later, he said that despite the official Kiev ban, he arrived in Ukraine with his fiancée Dilara Zinatullina.
