The leader of the Civic Coalition, Elisa Carrió, denounced that the resignation of the ministers who respond to Cristina Kirchner it is an attempted coup. “A vice president who empties the President of power is carrying out a coup,” declared Carrió, in statements to Radio Miter.
“This was already bad in origin, because Cristina Kirchner, the vice, was the one who elected the President. A vice president cannot be the head of the opposition ”, he analyzed.
And in relation to this he added: “A vice president cannot tell a President who he puts or takes out, whether he is defeated or victorious. This was going to come anyway because if they [Frente de Todos] she won, they were going to say that the victory was hers ”.
“I would tell the President to resist and to avoid a radicalization coup to avoid a coup,” warned, emphatically, Carrió. On the other hand, the leader of the Civic Coalition addressed the PJ governors and also demanded that they support the institutions.
“There must be governors who support the institutionality, especially those belonging to the PJ,” Carrió pointed out in this regard. On the other hand, the former deputy clarified that Together for Change will issue a statement in relation to the wave of complaints filed today by a dozen government officials related to Vice President Cristina Kirchner.
In any case, Carrió clarified that the role of the opposition coalition will be to support the institution from the parliament “and not internal government issues.”
