Paul beat Woodley by 5-foot-9 in his last fight in August

Dana White has stated that fans of “I promise f ******” won’t see Jake Paul calling Anderson Silva after his first round knockout of Tito Ortiz.

‘The Spider’ has won back-to-back boxing bouts since leaving the UFC and subsequent retirement from MMA.

Silva looks like a new man since leaving UFC a year ago

After knocking out former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, Silva brutally knocked out fellow UFC legend Ortiz with a punch in Florida last weekend.

The former middleweight champion enjoyed a career resurgence at the age of 46 and welcomed the prospect of facing one of the Paul brothers after their introduction to boxing.

After Logan walked the distance with Floyd Mayweather, a fight with Silva was announced and younger brother Jake is also making waves in the sport after beating Tyron Woodley – another former UFC champion.

Still, White thinks you won’t hear the 24-year-old calling the 6-foot-2 legend because “he likes to fight with old-timers who are too short.”

“Anderson Silva could actually be the GOAT of combat sports,” White told reporters at UFC Apex following Tuesday’s Dana White’s Contender Series 39 event.

“It will be interesting to see what he does next.

“I f ****** guarantee it; you won’t see Jake Paul calling Anderson Silva.

“What I promise you f ******. (Silva has) his size, and he’s really good. He’s old, that’s what Jake Paul likes to fight the old guys.

“He likes to fight old people who are too small and who are absolutely, positively stranded.”
