The Minister of Tourism of the Government of the Canary Islands, Yaiza Castilla, announced this Wednesday that it has parked the tidal pool plan before the “social response”That it has generated.
Castilla has indicated that the plan, which “is not a priority project” in his department, is parked and does not have a budget sheet, and from now on it will be the councils that will do the same, if they deem it appropriate.
In this sense, he recalled that In its day, CC promoted the Tenerife and the sea puddles plan.
The Minister of Tourism has insisted that the plan for puddles in the Canary Islands was limited to “identifying actions to see where it could be improved, with all respect for the environment”, but “as a Canarian and Minister of Tourism I cannot look the other way before the social protest ”.
“I have stopped because it is necessary to be consistent with the demands, needs and new sensitivities of the population,” he asserted.
