Another 176 deaths and 3,017 new infections

Another 176 people died and 3,017 were reported with coronavirus yesterday in Argentina, which adds up to 113,816 deaths officially registered at the national level and 5,229,848 those infected since the beginning of the pandemic, the Ministry of Health reported yesterday.

The health portfolio indicated that there are 1,851 hospitalized with coronavirus in intensive care units, with a percentage of occupancy of adult beds of 41% in the country and 42.6% in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area.

37.48% (1,131 people) of those infected yesterday (3,017) correspond to the City and the province of Buenos Aires.

Of the 5,229,848 infected, 97.15% (5,080,986) were discharged and 35,046 are confirmed active cases.

The report stated that 95 men and 78 women died, while one person from Córdoba, one from Entre Ríos, and one from La Rioja were reported without sex data.

The report stated that 41 men died in the province of Buenos Aires; 2 in the City of Buenos Aires; 3 in Chaco; 4 in Chubut; 2 in Córdoba; 4 in Entre Ríos; 1 in La Pampa; 1 in La Rioja; 6 in Mendoza; 3 in Missions; 1 in Neuquén; 3 in Río Negro; 1 in Salta; 2 in San Juan; 6 in Santa Fe; 1 in Tierra del Fuego and 14 in Tucumán.

29 women also died in Buenos Aires; 2 in the City of Buenos Aires; 3 in Chaco; 4 in Chubut; 2 in Córdoba; 4 in Entre Ríos; 2 in Jujuy; 3 in La Pampa; 5 in Mendoza; 3 in Neuquén; 2 in Río Negro; 1 in Salta; 8 in Santa Fe; 3 in Santiago del Estero and 9 in Tucumán.

Yesterday, 913 cases were registered in the province of Buenos Aires; in the City of Buenos Aires, 218; in Catamarca, 121; in Chaco, 46; in Chubut, 50; in Corrientes, 113; in Córdoba, 367; in Entre Ríos, 162; in Formosa, 52; in Jujuy, 39; in La Pampa, 53; in La Rioja, 16; in Mendoza, 97; in Misiones, 21; in Neuquén, 43; in Río Negro, 69; in Salta, 41; in San Juan, 32; in San Luis, 12; in Santa Cruz, 20; in Santa Fe, 192; in Santiago del Estero, 39; Tierra del Fuego, 13 and in Tucumán, 288.

The total accumulated by district indicates that the province of Buenos Aires totals 2,049,677 cases; the City of Buenos Aires, 510.501; Catamarca, 50,292; Chaco, 99,819 .; Chubut, 82,241; Corrientes, 90,887; Cordoba, 514,015; Entre Ríos, 135,710; Formosa, 61,624; Jujuy, 47,618; La Pampa, 67,276; La Rioja, 33,036; Mendoza, 164,108; Missions, 36,109; Neuquen, 112,864; Rio Negro, 99,563; Salta, 83,333; San Juan, 69,689; St. Louis, 80,234; Santa Cruz, 59,355; Santa Fe, 468,010; Santiago del Estero, 80,668; Tierra del Fuego, 32,309 and Tucumán, 200,920.
