Annalena Baerbock: New election advert shocked voters – “Now a feared election campaign too”
The new election spot of Greens and Annalena Baerbock is there! Already the first spot of Greens to the Bundestag election polarized because it was sung quite crookedly. However, the green version of “No beautiful country” was cheerful and confident. They present themselves completely differently Greens now in their final election commercial around two weeks before the federal election, in which Annalena Baerbock is the focus.
the Greens put in front of the Bundestag election now to the fear of the voters! Is it because of the party’s low polls?
Annalena Baerbock: The final election spot shocks the audience – “Doomsday threat”
In the new spot you can see Annalena Baerbock in a green top. It stands in a spruce forest in the Harz Mountains. The scene looks idyllic at first, you can hear birds chirping. Pure nature. Then the camera zooms out further and further.
A drone ride begins and suddenly the viewer sees that Baerbock is only standing in a mini piece of intact forest, all around the trees are already dead. Apparently the bark beetle was at work here, which is on the rise due to climate change.

At the latest here the viewer is given a queasy feeling. Those who do not vote green are partly to blame for coming natural disasters.

Current news about the federal election:
New election ad by Annalena Baerbock divides the network: “Now a fear election campaign too”
The spot divides the network again, even if it is largely received positively. “The next government must be a climate government,” demands a Twitter user, encouraged by the images in the clip. Many praise the impressive tracking shot and the strong message of the commercial, which focuses on the core theme of the party. “Regardless of how you feel about the Greens: the Baerbock spot is dramaturgically pretty grand,” it says in one of many similar-sounding comments.
This is Annalena Baerbock in private:
- The Green Chancellor candidate has been married to lobbyist Daniel Holefleisch since 2007.
- The couple have two daughters together.
- The children were born in 2011 and 2015.
- The 40-year-old lives with her family in Potsdam.
But there are also some critical tones: “It’s a shame that you are now also campaigning for fear,” writes an SPD supporter. Another commentator said: “The Greens can do kitsch and pathos.” Then she criticizes the party for using “dark music and threats of the end of the world”.

New tones before the federal election: is it because of the green polls?
The question now remains, why the Greens are suddenly relying on a completely different mood in their election advertising and focus on the threat posed by the climate crisis.

This new pitch may have something to do with the sobering polls. The party continues to lose support, and in some surveys the FDP is already attacking them. Many voters who would actually vote for the Greens also seem to be turning to the SPD because they want to prevent Armin Laschet from becoming chancellor. Can the spot bind you now?
