After six days, the death of 3 people in less than 24 hours due to COVID-19 was reported again in San Juan, according to the Ministry of Public Health.
The deceased are: an 88-year-old man, a native of Rawson, who was hospitalized at the Santa Clara Clinic; a 73-year-old man, from Capital, interned at the Medical Institute; and a 57-year-old man from Capital, admitted to the Dr. Guillermo Rawson Hospital.
With these three deaths, the total number of deaths in the province related to the pandemic amounts to 1,162 people.
In addition, 43 new infections were also confirmed (in addition to 607 tests that yielded negative results), so the total number of confirmed cases is 71,705. Of these, in addition to the deceased, 540 are currently suffering from the disease and 70,003 have already recovered.
