The building of a hostel for migrants in the Moscow region will be converted into a police station

The building of the former hostel near Sergiev Posad, where migrants previously lived, will be converted into a police stronghold. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow region on Instagram.

The authorities indicated that after the high-profile murder of a local resident in the village of Buzhaninovo, the hostel will no longer be used for its intended purpose, all migrants will be transported to and from work by official transport. It is clarified that in addition to the police department, an MFC and a pharmacy will also be opened in the building.

Earlier it became known that all migrants were taken out of the hostel. Anton Yemelin, an advisor to the head of the Sergiev Posad district of the Moscow region, confirmed that the administration had fulfilled this requirement of local residents.

On September 14, investigators charged two citizens of a neighboring state with the rape and murder of a pensioner. The men were detained in hot pursuit after the body of a woman with signs of violent death was found in the forest on September 13.

After information about the brutal massacre in the urban district of Sergiev Posad, local residents in protest went to a public gathering. People complained about serious problems with migrant workers who harass schoolgirls, which is why parents are afraid to let teenagers go out alone. The death of a woman was the last straw. Those gathered demanded a meeting with officials and representatives of law enforcement agencies. The head of the Sergiev Posad urban district, Mikhail Tokarev, promised residents to resolve the issue.
