Sánchez's measures cost 1.550 million to the electricity companies on the stock market

The rise in electricity prices continues unabated to consumers. In fact, tomorrow the price of electricity will once again see historical highs at 172.78 euros / MVh, an increase of almost 20 euros in a single day. The commotion caused by the incessant rises in the pool Electricity and the latest government measures to alleviate electricity bills have had a direct impact on the titles of the main electricity marketers listed on the Ibex 35.

Thus, this last year the market has penalized Endesa, which loses € 3,996 million in capitalization from its highs, to Iberdrola, with 14,047 million, and Naturgy, with 601 million.

While waiting to know the package of measures approved this Tuesday by the Council of Ministers, investors have continued to remove the titles of the benchmark electricity companies in Spain from their portfolios.

In the last hours and until now, the market penalty for Iberdrola has been 891 million euros. Since it hit its historic highs on the stock market on January 8 at 12.04 euros per share, the company has gone from having a market value of 79,408 million euros to capitalizing 65,361 million.

Since yesterday, investors have also penalized the firm of Jos Bogas, with losses of 630 million euros. Endesa, which reached its annual highs on May 28, with a price of 22.25 euros per share, has gone from being worth 25,039 million euros to 21,043 million euros on the stock market.

Naturgy € 29 million is left on the last day. It is the company that has best withstood the impact of the escalation. It currently accumulates 21,283 million, compared to the 21,884 that it is worth on July 27, the day it saw its maximum at 22.26 euros per title.
