Religious leaders call deputies to prioritize public policies

This call was made public through a note signed by Bishop Julio E. Murray of the Panama Ecumenical Committee and Rabbi Gustavo Kraselnik of the Panama Interreligious Committee.

Panama- Religious leaders of Panama made this Tuesday a called to the deputies a prioritize public policies that guarantee the wellness of all the Panamanians, to provide clear answers, to keep a transparent system from accountabilityace, a major interest on the conquest of whats Human Rights and the preference of social policiess de human development sustained.

It is called was made publicor through a signed note by Bishop Julio E. Murray of the Ecumenical Committee of Panama and the Rabino Gustavo Kraselnik of the Interreligious Committee of Panama, in which the religious expressed its worry around the discussion of the Electoral Reforms that is ahead in the National Assembly of Deputies of Panama.

According to the religious, these acts “are a moral affront“, which are deteriorating “the search from solutions that benefit to all Panamanians “, while highlighting that these do not promote actions that are helping to strengthen democracy in our country.

What’s more, they exhorted to the deputies a take the correctives for all citizens from this country benefit from democracy and what do i know respect the job of the members of the National Electoral Reform Commissionis, without responding to political interests, ideological and economic to the detriment of democracy of our country.

Currently the members from commission from government from National Assembly and the magistrates del Tribunal Electoral they suspended the discussion of the first debate of the Draft Law No. 544 upon electoral reforms.

The discussion se will keep suspended until the technical table meets next Monday at 9:00 am in the Electoral Tribunal and renders a report on the situation.
