Christophe Leroy: The chef of the stars sentenced to suspended prison

He was sentenced to two years of suspended imprisonment and a fine of 3000 euros. He will also have to pay the sum of 159,545 euros to Urssaf.

Christophe Leroy was however released from the bankruptcy chief, as reported by AFP in a dispatch on Tuesday. The chef of Johnny Hallyday’s wedding dinner has an obligation to work to pay the fines and refunds imposed on him. He is also prohibited from running a business for ten years.

He was accused in particular of not having declared the salaries of his employees to Urssaf or of having minimized them in establishments in Ramatuelle, Saint-Tropez and Paris, between 2013 and 2015. Christophe Leroy was also convicted of forgery and use of forgery for having drawn up a false attestation. While his company was in receivership, he had sent the legal representative a letter attesting that the situation was settled with a lessor, which was not the case. He will have to pay 5,110 euros in damages to this Parisian lessor.

Christophe Leroy (57) now cooks in the restaurant Leroy Business Club located in Paris. He works there with his new partner, on a permanent contract and receives a salary included “between 1,000 and 2,000 euros per month“.
