The sentence that leaves Billy alvarez outside Blue Cross: A Collegiate Court ultimately ruled that the appointment of Jose Antonio Marin Gutierrez and Victor Manuel Velázquez Rangel as presidents of the Board of Directors and Surveillance from Cruz Azul Cooperative.
Last Thursday, September 9, a Federal court finally resolved that the assembly held by the Cooperative on September 29, 2018 was valid, so the exit of Guillermo “Billy” Álvarez Cuevas of the cement company, and the appointments of Jose Antonio Marin and Victor Velazquez as presidents of the Administration and Surveillance Councils of the cement company.
The sentence was handed down after the representatives of “Billy” Alvarez, led by Federico Sarabia, will present an amparo lawsuit trying to overturn the appointments and reinstate Billy Álvarez as director of the Cooperative, appointments that had already been declared valid by the Seventh Civil Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of Mexico City .
However, despite Sarabia’s efforts, the First Collegiate Court in Civil Matters of the First Circuit based in Mexico City, under file 92/2021, confirmed that Marín and Velázquez are the legitimate representatives of the Blue Cross.
The three Federal Magistrates that make up that court unanimously resolved that the meeting of September 29, 2018 and its effects are valid, so the departure of “Billy” Alvarez of the Cooperative, and the appointments and actions of Marin and Velazquez.
This resolution is final and unassailable, so the efforts of Sarabia Well– who also has two arrest warrants against him for falsely showing himself as a representative of the Cooperative and for stealing cement – have been left without any hope.
