A shipment with 500,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine arrived in the country this weekend, with which Argentina already exceeds the 59 million vaccines received for the vaccination campaign against Covid.
The new batch, which comes to respond to the expectations of thousands of Argentines who have been waiting for months for the availability of this vaccine to complete their inoculation schedules, arrived at Ezeiza International Airport on Saturday at 10 p.m. on a company flight. This shipment is in addition to the 760,625 doses of component two Sputnik V vaccines that were delivered by the Richmond laboratory last week, the 100,620 shipments of Pfizer vaccines that arrived on Wednesday and the 200,000 from CanSino that arrived on Tuesday.
