In Afghanistan, he was a minister in the cabinet of President Aschraf Ghani, who has now fled, until the end of 2018. Among other things, Sadaat was responsible for expanding the mobile phone network in rural areas.
Sadaat told the newspaper that Ghani’s government had forced him to resign in 2020. Sadaat also reported that members of the government had prepared an exit strategy because of the advance of the Taliban. For this, they are also said to have diverted money from ministries – among other things, they had also tried the communications ministry, according to the report. Sadaat says it has resisted it. After his resignation, he left for Leipzig by plane in December 2020. According to the LVZ not be checked.
The former Afghan minister started at Lieferando after his funds were exhausted. But he has plans for the future. As the LVZ further reports that he wants to save in order to be able to afford German courses and is planning further training. He dreams of working for Telekom. Sadaat said he felt safe in Germany.
