Liverpool favorites Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane scored the goals in their 2-0 win over Burnley – but it was an 18-year-old who was singled out.
Harvey Elliott made his first start for the Reds in midfield and played the full 90 minutes as Jurgen Klopp’s side headed for victory.

The first goal was a brilliant header from Jota on a cross from Konstantinos Tsimikas, then Elliott played his part in a fine second.
He landed a superb cross pass from Virgil van Dijk, quickly moved it to Trent-Alexander Arnold, who provided a brilliant assist for Mane to hammer home.
At first glance, Elliott’s role seemed the simplest, but former England star Trevor Sinclair explained why he was so impressive of the youngster.
Elliott wowed the home crowd
Speaking on talkSPORT’s comments, he said: “Exceptional finish, exceptional eye-free first pass around the corner from Alexander-Arnold.
“But let’s not forget Elliott. His first pass was so easy. He could have taken a touch, but he played it early and it gave everyone more time.
“It was exceptional from the young man.”
