Before the slow pace of the GGovernment of Mexico in the vaccination against COVID-19 in the youth of Coahuila, the local legislator Maria Bárbara Cepeda Boehringer he particularly urged the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Welfare to speed up the process.
He added, in a virtual session, that the necessary actions should be established to accelerate the availability and application of biologicals in the youth of Coahuila, in the municipalities of the state where they have not yet started with the vaccination of this population group.
Cepeda Boehringer He considered that at the national level the lags and irregularities in the vaccination process continue, because to mention a few, the state has not yet received the vaccine for all youth.
“It has not been possible to apply the second dose among the population of 40-49 years and recently in the municipality of Ramos Arizpe, a population that expected to be vaccinated as laggards in the group of 30 to 39 years, the brigade did not arrive by the personnel of the Ministry of Welfare justifying it as a misunderstanding “, he stressed.
Given this, the local deputy said, it is extremely important to reinforce actions by federal authorities to avoid this type of situation.
Likewise, he added, it is extremely important to accelerate the vaccination process among the youth sector, since in addition, the vast majority belong to to the economically active sector of the population for which they are also exposed to high degrees of contagion.
“We must reach the youth of all the municipalities of our state and in this way be able to reduce the incidence of infections by COVID-19”, Indicated the legislator.
He added that with the presence of new highly contagious strains, we must all take additional measures and multiply the efforts to serve this population group.
