The Federal Administration of Public Revenue (Afip) claims more than $ 38 million in unpaid taxes to Marcelo tinelli, and managed to have the Justice order the general embargo of all its accounts, as recorded in the documents that the tax body presented in the Courts.

The Afip promoted the execution of Tinelli after determining that he accumulates a debt of more than $ 33.9 million of capital in taxes pending payment since 2019, as well as another $ 5 million planned to cover the compensatory and punitive interests, and costs derived from the process judicial.

The requisition focuses on the Personal Property tax corresponding to 2019 and 2020, on which the agency issued two debt tickets, both for overdue advances and for a payment plan that expired due to lack of compliance. Tinelli’s spokesmen confirmed the debt, but assured that it is an “exceptional” situation, in the midst of the pandemic, which the businessman will resolve.

“The debt comes from own taxes due in the second semester 2020, which were presented in a timely manner, and arose from sworn statements submitted voluntarily,” they said.

“The amount to be paid was originally included in a payment plan. But during the validity of the plan, some installments could not be met and the payment plan fell, so the remaining debt became enforceable by Afip ”, they explained.
