The fifth batch of vaccines from the pharmaceutical house AstraZeneca with 163,200 doses arrived in Panama yesterday to be applied in the fast cars installed nationwide, in Veraguas, Chiriquí, Coclé, Los Santos, Herrera, Panama Oeste, Colón and in the Irving Saladino Sports City , in the capital.

Autofasters will serve men and women over 30 years of age who receive the second dose and who voluntarily wish to take the first dose of AstraZeneca.

To date, Panama has received five shipments of the AstraZeneca vaccine, totaling 681,600 doses: 110,400, through the Covax mechanism, and 571,200, through the bilateral mechanism.

Starting today, the AstraZeneca vaccines will be applied by appointment in the fast car of the Irving Saladino Sports City, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, while, in other points established throughout the country, the vaccination schedule will be from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm

The Minsa reminds the population that people vaccinated with these doses are voluntary and must register at vacunas.panamasolidario.gob.pa, option “web appointments”. Appointment details are generated once the express vaccination center is enabled and will be notified via your email.
