At the beginning of August, Mayor Rodríguez He declared that, once the vaccination phase with sweeping is over, he would request the Ministry to lift this restrictive measure.
The same decree that lifts the dry law, also urges merchants to comply with biosafety measures dictated by the Ministry of Health (Minsa).
Before sanctioning the new decree, Mayor Rodríguez said he had warned the merchants of the execution of operations by the Minsa and the Justices of the peace to verify compliance with these standards.

Rodríguez insisted “that you cannot fall into a debauchery”, Which would result in an increase in the coronavirus infections in this district.
The new measure will provide “oxygen” to merchants and mainly to the owners of beach restaurants in the township of Veracruz, who had warned “to be on the edge of the abyss.”
Nelson Cedeño, owner of one of the restaurants in Venado de Veracruz beach, He said that the measure will allow a greater number of people to attend on weekends and move the economy.
The local authorities indicated that the curfew hours from 10:00 pm remain in force, since this is a measure adopted by Executive Decree.
