At a campsite in Ladbergen (North Rhine-Westphalia) A 30-year-old was arrested near Münster on suspicion of abuse and was taken into custody.

The man from Osnabrück is accused of being on a campsite in Ladbergen (North Rhine-Westphalia) Police and public prosecutor’s office in Münster announced on Saturday that they had passed on an eleven-year-old boy. The accused is said to have sexually abused the child from Dortmund on Thursday evening near the campsite.

Ladbergen (NRW): suspect in custody

The man was arrested on Friday at the campsite in Ladbergen in the Steinfurt district. The employee of the holiday complex is said to have spoken to the boy and left the campsite with him. He allegedly did sexual violence to the boy off the premises. The child was on vacation with his parents at the campsite and was there alone shortly before the crime.

The judge issued an arrest warrant on Saturday at the request of the public prosecutor and ordered custody. The accused did not comment on the allegations. (dhe / dpa)
