Internet service in Argentina is being affected by connectivity failures provided by international providers to companies throughout the country.

The reason is a generalized fall that affects several companies that provide connectivity services in the country. These are the international couriers: Lumen (ex Global Crossing), Internexa and TIS (Nautilus, a subsidiary of Telecom Italia).

Among the services that cannot be accessed from Argentina are Google, Netflix, Telecom, Cablevisión, Fibertel, Movistar, Zoom, Twitch, Telegram, WhatsApp, Telecentro, Personal, Claro, Instagram and Facebook.

Downdetector, the platform dedicated to providing users with information on the status of websites and services in real time, indicated that Movistar and Fibertel were the first to present problems at 15:05 and 15:16 respectively.

Later, WhatsApp, Zoom, Netflix, Telegram, Google, Facebook, Personal, Telecom, Instagram and Mercado Libre were added, among others. These outages occurred within 90 minutes and there were partial resets. Twitter was one of the few networks that remained active, so users used it to report drops in services and web pages.
