‘Bitter land’, the nightmare of ‘Save me’: Turkish fiction does not stop uploading on Antena 3

It was a risky decision, but the audience data is giving the reason to Antena 3. On July 5, Atresmedia withdrew ‘Now I fall!’ in the afternoon to program in its hole ‘Bitter Land’, a new Turkish fiction released in 2018 and that since then has triumphed in more than 30 countries around the world. The series premiered in ‘prime time’ with an average of 12.9% (1,136,000), however, in the evening slot it does not stop improving its results every day.

‘Tierra amarga’ averages 13.6% after a month of broadcasts with 1,224,000 viewers, however, if we only take the data from the last five days, its average grows to 14.9% (1,330,000), which which represents an improvement of 1.3 points and more than 100,000 new followers. In fact, fiction broke its audience record on Thursday after shooting up to 15.4%, surpassing the 15% barrier for the second time this week.

The Antenna 3 series he stayed in his band just 6 tenths of a point behind his main rival, ‘Save me’. ‘Tierra Amarga’ surpassed its great mark on Tuesday by 3 tenths and was only 1,000 spectators away from also matching its best mark in number of spectators.

For its part, ‘Save me orange’ this Thursday reaped 16.0% with 1.4 million, one of its worst marks in the last month. Although the direct comparison with ‘Bitter Earth’ is not possible, due to its duration, the data of ‘Save me’ reflects that something in the afternoon begins to change. Yesterday, in fact, ‘Tierra amarga’ also topped the ranking of the most watched broadcasts in deferred. According to the consultant Dos30′, the Turkish production added 79,000 viewers in this modality, which means that a total of 1,450,000 followers watched the episode.
