An Indian in the city Hervé Palud was released in 1994. A cult film in which Ludwig Briand – now 40 years old – played the role of Mimi-Siku, the little Indian with long hair lost in the streets of Paris alongside Thierry Lhermitte. A striking experience for the actor who, at the time, was making his mark in the world of cinema. “I was lucky to have the right face and long hair at the right time. There is a great deal of chance in an acting career“, he confided in 2018 to Parisian.
Since this remarkable experience, Ludwig Briand then distinguished himself on television in a few television series. In 1996, the French were able to find him in an episode of the series The Cave of the Golden Rose by Lamberto Bava. Then, between 1997 and 1999, the latter appeared in the series One and one is six by Franck Apprederis. But after these few appearances, the young man then turned to the civil service as a clerk at the Ministry of Justice. And during an interview with VSD in 2016, the man passionate about poker also confided in the sometimes unexpected proposals that were offered to him. “I am regularly offered to integrate reality TV shows, but that does not interest me, it is not artistic“, he explained. And to add:”Today I have no regrets, I love what I do, I work for the general interest.”
