President Alberto Fernandez Today he will fulfill his last day of preventive isolation due to the trip he made to Peru last week and, in accordance with health regulations for the coronavirus, a new PCR test will be carried out so that he can resume his usual activities.
Fernández arrived last Thursday from Peru, where he attended the inauguration of the president Pedro Castillo, and a test was carried out, which was negative, according to the Presidential Medical Unit.
Since then, Fernández has been in isolation at the presidential residence in Olivos.
Although he is exempted from fulfilling the isolation for being essential personnel, the President decided to comply with the mandatory isolation in accordance with the norms established by the Ministry of Health of the Nation, as indicated in a statement that bears the signature of the doctor Federico Saavedra, director of the Presidential Medical Unit.
The head of state was accompanied in Peru by the first lady, Fabiola Yañez; The chancellor Felipe Solá; the Minister of Women, Gender and Diversity, Elizabeth Gomez Alcorta; the General Secretaries of the Presidency, Julio Vitobello, and Communication and Press, Juan Pablo Biondi; and the deputy Eduardo Valdes, head of the Foreign Relations Commission of the Lower House.
