The VSV brings attacker Anton Karlsson back from Sweden for the coming season. The 25-year-old, who already hunted goals for the Adler in the 2019/20 season, is committed to the Villach team for the coming season of the ICE Hockey League. With the return campaign, the VSV roster is complete, as the club announced in a broadcast.

In his only season in Austria’s highest ice hockey league, Karlsson scored 19 goals and 15 assists in 48 regular season games. In the playoffs, one goal and one assists were added in three games.

“Anton Karlsson knows the team, the city and the surrounding area. He felt very comfortable with us and was also the top scorer in the team. Anton is a strong ice skater and a very dangerous goal player who will give us even more offensive penetration. We are happy that we were able to bring Anton back to the ‘Adlerhorst’ “, emphasizes VSV sports director Gerald Rauchwald.
