Given the possibility that face-to-face classes in Sinaloa may resume this year, the delivery date of free school packages will be brought forward, which will be announced in the coming days, this compared to last year, which was in the month of September.
Maximiliano Valdez, president of the State Textile Apparel Industry Association of Sinaloa, stated that according to the information provided by the state government to uniform suppliers, it will be in the next few days that a precise date for the exchange of uniforms will be announced, which is expected to start this month and will include 3 weeks as opposed to 5 in 2020.
He explained that, given the possibility of face-to-face classes this year, progress in the making of uniforms is important, which already exceeds 80 percent of what is required to cover the list of students, this pending that at any time the exchanges begin, which according to what was agreed will be carried out as last year in alphabetical order.
This, he recalled, were good results that were had to avoid the accumulation of people and the care of the sanitary measures imposed by the health authorities due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The exchange will be the same as last year, for the alphabet, in alphabetical order for the first of the students’ last names, last year it was 5 weeks and this year they were estimating to cut it to 3 weeks, and they are going to do this because last year the process was very successful, as well as very safe “, said the leader of textile companies in the state.
