The Russian rested in Turkey and Crimea, compared the main expenses during the trip and named the most profitable resort. The man shared his findings in his personal blog on the Yandex.Zen platform.
The blogger visited Crimea this summer season, and Istanbul and several small towns in the neighborhood in 2017. For a correct comparison of costs, the author recalculated all prices at the current exchange rate and realized that spending for Russians has hardly changed – in four years, the ruble and the Turkish lira have sagged almost the same.
According to the traveler, the cost of housing was similar. The average price per night in a budget hotel in Crimea was 1.3 thousand rubles, in Turkey – 1.2 thousand rubles.
The tourist spent a little less on food and travel by public transport in Istanbul than in Crimea – the difference was measured in several hundred rubles. A similar situation is with the prices for visiting iconic attractions.
As a result, the tourist came to the conclusion that a trip abroad can be not only cheaper, but also more comfortable than a vacation in popular Russian resorts.
“The Turkish comfort level is clearly winning. For example, the same buses, a buffet in every hotel and the absence of rudeness, which, unfortunately, occurs on our peninsula, ”he stressed.
Earlier in June, a Russian tourist visited popular beaches in Sochi and Abkhazia and chose the best resort for recreation. During the trip, the blogger compared the Imeretinsky beach in Sochi and the Pitsunda beach near the village of Lizava. If the Sochi beach angered her with crowds of vacationers, then she called Pitsunda “love at first sight.”
