The Buenos Aires-born Guillermo Ortelli is preparing to experience a special Sunday at the San Juan circuit of El Villicum, as he will reach 400 participations in the TC, within the framework of the “Desafío de las Estrellas”, which will be held today at the Cuyo circuit.

The seven-time TC champion is the rider with the most races in the history of the category, followed by Omar Martínez (365) from Entre Ríos, Christian Ledesma (352) from Mar del Plata and Roberto Urretavizcaya (352) from Chacabuque.

This outstanding number of presences comes just at the worst moment of his rich teceísta career, since he has not won 66 races (his last triumph was on October 2, 2016 in Concepción del Uruguay before obtaining his last crown). The Salto driver continues to be a benchmark for Chevrolet, regardless of the results.
